The Christian Church (and Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, and Hindu) is full of hypocrites, false teachers, and idiots.

Yes i know that is a very controversial statement, but it is very true.

In fact all Christians are either knowingly hypocritical or an idiot.

No person is perfect, not you and especially not me.

At least I am aware of my sin. “Knowing that you have a problem is the first step toward a solution to that problem.”

Tell me what you think.

  1. To make the assumption that Christians are not aware of their sin is both naive and generally uninformed of the teaching of all of the major religions you have listed.
My question is, “Where is this assumption coming from?”
If you are basing this assumption from the lives of the people you know, then you know few “real” Christians (or Muslims and Jews). The basis of all three faiths centered in monotheism is the sinfulness of man and the need for God to rectify the lack of “humanity” within the human race.
In short, the teachings of Christianity do not teach a judgmental attitude or a self-righteous personality (although you would never know it from watching the Christians that present themselves in the media) but rather a humility and attitude of service to the community.
To tell you the truth, I have been a Christian for five years, but I have been a hypocrite my entire life. The only true hypocrite is the one that denies it.
I think your reaction is to an ever growing group of Christians that need to learn how to be “Christian” and on that point I would emphatically agree with you.

  2. I would agree that their certainly is a lot of hypocrisy within Christianity. I can’t really speak for the other faiths you mention.

I’m quite sure there have been times and season in my life I’ve been guilty of this. Still working on it as I know I’m a work of grace!
